ICE FISHING MARCH 1, 2009

patterson lake, a great swimming hole in the summer, now frozen over. Charles hopes to catch rainbow trout and yellow perch. Willow hopes to drink the entire thermos of hot chocolate. Olive thinks she is super walker now and surprised me by walking so boldly on the snow covered ice. Gotta keep up with her big sis’ I guess. After about an hour, the wind/rain/snow picked up so Olive and I headed back to the car for some cuddles. Willow and Papa stayed out to catch a couple more perch. Pretty neat. We are ready for spring though. Isn’t everyone?
